Ahhh that- nope that was my niavety- if you look at my sign in date, I have been around since 2006- YOU guys have been around for a lot longer. So I had no idea just how much bad blood was around between certain members, that is why what happened , happened.
Magiks was just origionally my attempt at a fruity and videogame forum- with some of my own projects thrown in. I did it simply because I could- it costs nothing to set up a free board, and INvision power boards are pretty good for freebies.
It was myself and BF74 who came up with the format and if you have a read at the electro machines section youll see just what that guy can do- he is some tech- knows his stuff, and knows it well.
It was also supposed to be the home forum of FMEF as mecca had MFME. and all was starting to go well, until I fell foul of a trap set by some members who had a beef with each other. A name was posted, a name was starred out and that was that. I was dealing with a living nightmare. When the dust settled, I had one very big egg on my face.
I had no idea of the pandy trouty CJW dialtone EPEE or anything like that at the time- I have done a lot of reading up of late , I have been better informed, and Ive rebuilt me bridges. I have had a run in unfortunatley on here and on there with someone and that ended ugly, but that is by the by.
But the forum is still there, which surprised me because I didnt have time to work on it, and its really a forum to post anything MPU, be it fruity, video, pin, or computer. Its a place for me to ramble about my projects, and a place for you guys to ramble about yours. I tried to put a section for all in there and I did advertise on the various boards for anyone wanting to be a mod. Some people took me up on the offer. some didnt.
See everyone thought I was some self obsessed big gun in the community trying to get everyone fighting for my own amusement. Not so- I just love my fruitys , videos and computers, Like to tinker and help repair stuff, keeps me sane, and I wanted to share my little corner of the community with everyone because I love visiting all these boards, I hoped people would give me a chance. I know it LOOKED like I was taking very specific sides with arguments but that wasnt the case. I just thought I could put my own version of a board out there, and I guess I have, I guess too the IPB folks like it because its not been taken down when idle.
Btw, keep up the good work on here whoever you all are. FF has become about more than fruitys now but thats because the members have so many diffrent interests, its a right diverse community without Bias or predjiduce, if thats how you spell it (my spelling is so shit ) and anyone who pre judges it is misinformed.
And I will still be doing my project on here, I won that machine btw, Ill be collecting it shortly.
